Mahathma Gandhi Park(Rathnagiri Bore)
This is a beautifully maintained garden for entertainment of people of all walks of life. Good for jogging, walking, children's entertainment. A small hillock, locally called 'Rathnagiri Bore' located on the northern side of Chikmaglur town has become a 'Star of Attarction' to the local people on almost all evening outgoings and weekend holidays. Located on a vital spot, it gives the most beautiful sight of 'Mullayanagiri' on the back drop with ever-changing natural scenario. Hirekolale
Large artificial lake just outside the town, it is surrounded by green hills and coffee estates in all sides. It's calm waters are appealing, and the scenic location facing the hills of Mullayyanagiri make the lake a great sight. Many Kannada movies have been shot on the lake shore.

Belur
The Magnificent shrine dedicated to Lord Vijayanarayan, one of the twenty four incarnations of Vishnu, was built to commemorate the victory of Hoysalas over the Cholas in the great battle of Talakkad. Some also believe that it was constructed when Vishnuvarhana adopted Vaishnavism under the influence of the great guru Sri Ramanujacharya. Its construction commenced in 1116 A.D., at the instance of king Vishnuvardhana, later on his son and grandson completed the work.

Muthodi Wild Life Senctuary
Muthodi Wildlife Sanctuary is situated near the Muthodi village and is also known as the Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, as River Bhadra flows through the forest. In 1998, the wildlife sanctuary was declared as the 25th Tiger Reserve of India under the Project Tiger. The sanctuary provides habitat to several endangered animals and birds, such as jackal, tiger, king vulture, great horned owl, panther, wild dog and black napped flycatcher. This sanctuary is home to more than 120 species of trees.

Dattatreya Peeta or B.B Hills
To the north of Chikmagalur town is the Baba Budan Giri Range or Chandra Drona Parvatha as it was known in the ancient times, which has one of the highest mountain peaks between the Himalayas and the Nilgiris. The peak takes its name from the Muslim saint, Baba Budan, who resided here more than 150 years ago.

Kemmangundi
Kemmangundi is a hill station in Tarikere taluk of Chikmaglru district in India. It is located at a height of 1434m above sea level. This was the summer retreat of Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV and as a mark of respect to the king, it is also known as Sri Krishnarajendra Hill Station. Ringed by the Baba Budan Giri Range and blessed with silver cascades, mountain streams, and lush vegetation, Kemmangundi's beautifully laid-out ornamental gardens and enchanting mountains and valleys views are a treat to the eye.
